The International Library of Critical Writings in Business History series

Series editor: Geoffrey Jones, Harvard Business School, US

'The series, The International Library of Critical Writings in Business History, is under the general editorship of Geoffrey Jones of Harvard Business School: he has done a very good job in selecting editors for a range of topics in business history. To the present, sixteen books have been published, covering such subjects as the rise of the multinationals, trusts, anti-trust and regulation; family business structures; and business elites. Each of the editors prepares an introduction and selects a range of articles which illuminate the subject from different angles, while name indexes and suggestions for further reading add to the usefulness of the books.'
- Per Boje, Scandinavian Economic History Review

'The volumes in the International Library of Critical Writings in Business History series are useful additions to any college or university library but are essential for libraries with incomplete collections of the major human resource journals.'
- Business Library Review

'. . . Jones is to be contratulated for lauching a series which combines excellent thematic coverage with subject-specific academic expertise.'
- Maurice Kirby, Business History
