Elgar Studies in Legal Education

Elgar Studies in Legal Education provides a space for discussion and examination of wide-reaching issues associated with teaching and learning law in higher education. Law is a unique discipline which can be viewed as both scholarly and vocational, and as a result, educators in law face distinct challenges. The series provides a space for critical analysis and reflection on legal pedagogy, taking account of both fundamental debates on the purpose and function of a law degree and current issues such as student wellbeing, inclusive teaching and authentic assessment. Research which has a strong theoretical grounding is encouraged, as is research which is international in its scope.
