New Horizons in Money and Finance series

Series editor: Mervyn K. Lewis, formerly of the University of South Australia and Academy of the Social Sciences, Australia

Finance continues to be an area of considerable controversy. Against a backdrop of both volatility in international financial markets and the reform process in many national markets, new challenges are emerging to both theory and practice. The series will provide an invaluable forum for the publication of high quality works of scholarship on a breadth of topics ranging from financial markets and financial systems to monetary policy and banking reform, and will show the diversity of theory, issues and practices.

The focus of the series is on the development of original thinking in money and finance. Rigorous in its approach, it will pay particular attention to the international and comparative dimension of finance and will include innovative theoretical and empirical work from both established authors and the new generation of scholars.
