The objective of this series is to provide a bridge between academic and applied research, and present results directly relevant to policy makers. It will establish a baseline of practical approaches and highlight the stages involved in the development of best practice, providing research material and references for further academic work. The series will address methodological challenges, facilitate an exchange of experience between disciplines and practitioners, and contribute to capacity building for evaluation. The volumes will comprise of selected papers presented at the five international EASY-ECO conferences organised by a consortium of seven leading European universities and research institutes.
